Graham Seldon

Founder of Seldon Gill Consulting, has over 15 years experience specialising in the recruitment of professional services executives. Graham is successful at placing highly skilled professionals at all levels across all management disciplines and he draws from his experience working in some of the world's major cities, including Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, London, Hong Kong, Singapore, New York and Auckland.

Graham has been a driving force behind the growth of professional services careers in Australasia and was inducted into the Asia-Pacific Professional Services Marketing Association's (APSMA) Hall of Fame in 2007 for his commitment to the marketing sector.

So if Graham is the Seldon, who is this mysterious Gill character? "The Gill is my grandmother," says Graham, "The name is a tribute to her memory and a reminder of some of her attributes that makes Seldon Gill so successful: a wicked sense of humour, steely determination and a big dose of class!"

Q1 Before I came to Seldon Gill I wondered what it would be like to work for myself and dreamed of 3 day weeks and long lunches (it hasn't happened yet!) 

Q2 The best thing about my job is my boss. He is really understanding of my desire to work 3 day weeks and have long lunches and has promised me it will happen one day.

Q3 If I didn't have to work I would check myself into a health retreat for 6 months and have a personal trainer. I know I have a surfers body in me somewhere. 

Q4 The view I love most is outside my office at Melbourne city skyline. I wanted so much to live here and can't believe how lucky I am.

Q5 If I had my own logo it would be stripey, bold and plumpish!
