All Change at the top – Legal Marketing Heads Turn Around

It has been a busier than usual month for job vacancies at the top of the legal marketing ladder, as several firms look to appoint new Directors of Marketing and Business Development.  Seldon Gill has recently been retained to source senior talent for mid tier law firms in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne whilst several top tier firms review the landscape following some key departures.

NSW Manager, Katie Rosser, who is managing 2 Director level search campaigns for Sydney and Brisbane says “This is a rare opportunity in the market for Senior BD & Marketing Managers to secure their first Head of Marketing role with clients specifically look for people who can grow into these opportunities and stay the distance longer term”.

Whilst candidates with legal experience tended to be favoured by law firms, we are now seeing a shift to people with broader professional services experience who can bring some new ideas and practices.
