Last month creator of the world renowned SPIN® Selling technique and sales guru, Professor Neil Rackham, was in Australia on a tour sponsored by Huthwaite to promote his sales reinvention tour. Seldon Gill Consulting was lucky enough to have the opportunity to host an additional event for their key clients with Professor Rackham guest speaking as well as record a Q&A podcast for our website.

This round table event which was sponsored by Norton Rose and Huthwaite was a unique chance for some of professional services top BD professionals to speak openly and freely with Professor Rackham about trends he has seen, and predicts, in the market. Of particular interest was the discussion on how professional services firms need to adopt a culture of selling from the ground up, and how cross selling strategies are flawed.

Professor Rackham is known throughout the world as a speaker, writer and seminal thinker on sales and marketing issues. Three of his books have been on the New York Times best seller list and his works have been translated into over 50 languages. He has been Chairman and CEO of three international research and consulting firms.
