Alicia Patterson (House Communications)

House Communications is a sister company to Seldon Gill and provides our clients with marketing, business development and training services, on a project basis.

Alicia Patterson began her career as a journalist, before moving into media management and public relations in government and not-for profit sectors. After a stint as a state marketing manager for a leading national law firm, she took on the role of pulling together and heading up the marketing department of the state's peak body for lawyers, the Law Institute of Victoria, and was responsible for regenerating the LIV's brand and key research projects to consolidate its leadership positioning.

"House is my way of pulling together all that experience and making sure I stay challenged - there's no excuse for a mediocre approach to marketing and communications - everything has a flow on effect. Anyway, what's more interesting than how and why we engage with each other and how we get our messages through - whether it's on a personal, political or commercial level?"
