New Faces 2009

I am not sure about you, but here at Seldon Gill we are over the recession depression and ready to start 2010 with a refreshed vigour! The last quarter of this year has seen an increase in roles which meant that we too had to increase our staff to continue to give our clients and candidates the service they are used to.

In our Sydney office, with Katie Rosser having led the team as Manager for the second half of 2009, we have had some significant changes.

Katie has been with Seldon Gill Consulting for nearly four years and will focus on senior level recruitment in 2010. She has successfully led campaigns in Sydney, Brisbane, Asia and New Zealand.  A qualified solicitor, Katie previously worked for an international law firm in the UK and has inside knowledge of legal and partnership environments.  Her time at Seldon Gill has seen her grow a strong understanding of the accounting, engineering and infrastructure sectors as well.

Our new Director of Business Development, Michael Sugg, joined Seldon Gill in August from the UK where he was the Executive Director of PSMG, the affiliate organisation to APSMA and director of Sugg Marketing Services, a Management Consultancy specializing in managing associations and membership groups in the professional services market place. Michael’s knowledge of this market and experience in recruiting at all levels in the industry are a tremendous asset for Seldon Gill and their clients. Michael leads the expansion of Seldon Gill's client training and development programme as well as developing our recruitment and consulting services.

Our Melbourne office has also had changes with Erin Kefalas currently on maternity leave after having a beautiful baby boy, Julian in November. Emily Thorpe has joined the Melbourne team as a Marketing Consultant focusing on branding and development and working alongside Michael on various marketing projects.

You can keep up to date on our consultants and their activities here.
