ACEA  Rebrand

Latest News

The Association of Consulting Engineers Australia (ACEA) AGM was held on Saturday 5 December 2009 where the members of the ACEA voted to change the name of the Association to Consult Australia. This name change will take effect from 18 March 2010. Following an extensive consultation program, there was significant support for the resolution with it being passed by 96.41% of the vote.

The change of name reflects a rebrand of the organisation to bring it in line with the current constitution and strategic plan, however, it is to be noted that the membership criteria and eligibility will not change. Membership will continue to be available to firms who provide intellectual consulting services to the built and natural environment.

This is an exciting change for the organisation which will see the brand and logo better reflecting the current members, many of whom offer multidisciplinary services for their clients. The name change will also help to distinguish the organisation as an industry association that represents business needs of its member firms.

The new name (accompanied by the strap line of  Business | Engineering | Design™) and new logo and associated collateral will be launched at the Welcome Reception on 17 March 2010 at the Amora Jamison Hotel in Sydney on the eve of the 2010 Conference.
